Lighthorse Productions was created by Krista Lee Weller to facilitate the production of inspiring, socially conscious projects that matter. Krista takes a character-driven, personal approach in her work, delivering stories that give people an emotional connection to the people and places she films. Krista started her career writing and field producing news broadcasts, which gave her a solid production foundation and a journalistic, storytelling style. Her experience in film and television include work as a producer, writer and locations manager on both local and national television commercials, campaigns, feature films and shows.

She is currently in production on the documentary film I CARRY YOUR HEART IN MY HEART: Transforming Art Students and Patients Through Visual Art in Medicine, and her feature length documentary VENDEMMIA, a film that explores the Cinque Terre of Italy’s dedication to sustainable tourism, environmental conservation and historical preservation, was released in 2013.
